I am a woman who is older than her brain tells her she is, I still like to act crazy, I still want to have fun, I still love to dance, this list could go on and on. I love my children with all my heart, my grandson is my life and my husband, he is in the middle of all of the aboved mentioned. I am very proud of my son and daughter and grandson, well if you read my journal at all you know what a big part of my life he is and how very proud of him I am. Our son got married on May 3, 2008 and have just found out they are expecting their first child in Feb. 2009, we are soooooo excited to have a new member in our family.
My husband is a wonderful man, we have been married almost 15 years of course since he works on a working river boat I don't get to see him very much. In our 16 years together we have only seen each other for 8 years, not that we don't want to, he is only home every other month, this is a choice I made and I have learned to live with it but, I can say that I do get lonely. My Kitty that I had for almost 13 years died in October 2006 and I am still very sad but again I am thankful that Jaden (my grandson) is such a big part of my life and he spends so much time with me. I am a big Halloween nut, I love everything about the holiday, the inside of my house is a mixture of Halloween and New Orleans decor (because I love New Orleans to), black, white, wrought iron and really cool Halloween stuff.....everywhere, 12 months a year. It doesn't mix well when I try to put up the Christmas stuff.....hehehe My mother thinks I am a witch or something, my neighbors think I am weird (I don't care), my in-laws just laugh, my husband just isn't sure what to think but, he is never home so what does it matter. I am a good person I just always go over board on things that I love. I was a photographer for over 20 years and still love it, I have done everything from driving a forklift to accounting so I am a woman with many talents. I have found that over the years people that get to know me love me and the ones that don't get to know me think I am a real BITCH, I say that is their loss. That's about all I can think to try to describe myself?????
